Sandwich Fire Department
Headquartered
in Center Sandwich, the volunteer Sandwich Fire Department provides
primary fire and emergency medical services to the citizens of Sandwich.
The Fire Department has 24 active members, and volunteers receive no compensation for their services. Any resident over 18 years of age can apply to join the SFD; while those 16 and older may join as cadets. The SFD has two Class A Pumpers and a Basic Life Support Rescue Ambulance.

Any emergencies should be reported by immediately calling 911. The Fire Department Association meets the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at Central Station.
